I come from Cairns originally but have lived in Brisbane on and off
since leaving home after school to attend Queensland University.
I have finally settled in suburbia at Coorparoo having previously
lived in Toronto Canada, Cardiff Wales and all over Queensland.
I live with my husband Peter and four daughters - Greta 18, Alice
15, Georgia 13 and Phoebe 11. I am a High School teacher and have
also done curriculum development work with the Catholic Education
Office in Townsville.
I enjoy bushwalking. The best walk I have done so far is the Kepler
Trek in New Zealand. I also enjoy reading and have been a regular
participant of a bookclub for many years.
I have “graduated” from Children’s Liturgy to Youth ministry along
with my children and hope to encourage the intergenerational dynamic
at Mt Carmel Parish.
