Hi. I hail from the rumgrowing district of Bundaberg, and, having
an Italian father, had close ties to the Italian community there.
I attended University in Rockhampton where I majored in Neil Young
and Pink Floyd (and managed to graduate in Engineering along the
way). Since Uni, I have mostly worked in the field of power distribution,
and currently work for Ergon Energy in their Brisbane office. I
haven’t been in Brisbane or part of this parish very long – Kathy,
myself and the kids (Blaise 6, Chiara 4 and Sian 2) moved here in
June 2000.We are still finding our way in the new parish but we
have been welcomed most warmly.
So why am I involved in youth ministry?
Since my early twenties I have had a desire to communicate the
Gospel through music. This lead me to be part of Christian rock
bands and youth liturgies, which naturally lead into youth ministry.
I am very keen to help others into music ministry, so if you are

Back in Mackay, Kathy and I used to run a fortnightly Bible Study,
chat, prayer and supper get together called YAP (Young Adult Parishioners)
– sort of like "the Panel" with a biblical or church topic. They
were heaps of fun, so if you’re interested in helping us form one
